Growing up

 

Solo hike with Bodhi today. Lots of time to ponder on just how much I enjoy this dog. He's now 2 1/2 years old, through adolescence and the pandemic and has grown into EVERYTHING I had hoped for.

Flyball is going great, agility is coming together and just such an easy dog to live with and teach with. Everything I've thrown at him this year he has taken in stride and with confidence.

All the work is paying off, but also he is an example of the care and dedication that his breeders put into breeding such solid dogs genetically. Thank you Aaron and Sharon!

Flyball Weekend

 

This past Family Day weekend I had a very exciting weekend running my first flyball tournament with my new team, Rocket Relay. Bodhi ran pairs with his sister Shenzi. They were such good dogs! I'm looking forward to the next one!

Keeping Busy

 

It was a busy few months for the dogs, with daily hiking, agility and flyball. Provincial shut down right now and we are just getting out for hikes, sports will return soon for Bodhi. Bodhi and I ran our first agility trail back at the end of November and he has run preflight at 2 flyball tournaments. He is looking to run singles in February if things open up again!

Summer's End

 Summer is coming to an end. Agility, flyball and hiking. My favourite old camera is slowly dying...just like the summer heat and daylight. Bring on autumn.

Dock Diving

 All the dogs had fun at the dock last night!
