This and That

Summer means camping trips with kids and dogs as well as dog sports and hiking. Loving the long days of summer :)

Summer is Here!

We are all enjoying the summer even though it has been hot and humid. Back to agility trials, Timber is progressing beautifully with flyball, agility, rally and freestyle. We are still hiking and swimming, and this past weekend a little party at the dock diving venue!

Dock Diving!

Timber and Zen along with one of their friends enjoyed the first dock diving and swimming days of the year. Timber was jumping even further than last year!!

Back to Flyball

After MANY years away from flyball I decided to start back to the game with Timber. This little video is of class # 5. I think he is doing great! Looking forward to a bit of fun in the future! This dog is so versatile...just like Zephyr was!

It's that time of year! The equipment is out! My friend was kind enough to run Timber for me while I shot some photos. Yay for spring!

March Sunshine

I am not a fan of shooting in the mid-day sun, but I love to walk in it's warmth in those chilly March days. Spring can't be much longer now!!

Winter Snow

Zen and Timber enjoying the snow back in December. Life has been so busy, but I always make time for the dogs hike. They need it, and I need it. Along with daily hikes we are at the training hall working, teaching and training 4 days a week. The dogs enjoy it!

Zephyr's Last Video

It has been just over a year since Zephyr past away. We still miss him. He was perfection. I was finally able to edit this video of him about a week before he died. He had just turned 15. It is just him on the beach, but that is enough. It was easy walking for him those last months, so we spent some time there.

So much has gone on in my life this past year. I am going to start adding to this blog again, Timber is coming along just amazing. I would like to share his beauty here.
