Agility in the Backyard!!

I was so excited today when the UPS driver showed up with a new tunnel!!! I had to bark and wag my tail! Of course when Mom opened it up in the living room to check it out Liam the toddler thought it was for him!! Also the jumps are out and tonight my mom said she will get my dad to help her bring the A-frame out into the yard. We have a trial on Saturday and for some reason she feels that I need to practice. Of course we all know that it is her that needs the work!!

Sorry! It's been awhile!

Wow! So sorry that I have been away from the computer. The weather has been like summer the past 2 weeks so we have been spending all our time outside in the yard. We have a lot of clearing and clean up of plants to do around here so I have been busy helping my Mom. We are growing alot of our own veggies and fruit this year so that takes time too.

My mom has been busy grooming other people's dogs as well. The good weather seems to prompt people to get them bathed and shaved.

Of course I continue to train for agility, and we have a trial coming up in just over a week, so I will be sure to let you all know how we do. Also we are going to bring out the A-frame and other equipment next week!! I love being able to do agility in my yard!!

Spring!! (At least for a few days)

Beautiful weather for 5 days in a row!! Most of our snow has melted and we are having fun tracking mud into the house!! Mom took some photos of us today and she really likes the one above of Chase and Kirya. They really are best friends.

There are also a couple of me trying to entice Kirya to play disc with me. Come on Kirya it's spring!!! Mom says not too much longer and we can get the agility equipment out!! For some reason she wants to wait until the ground is dry. She says I'm too hard on the grass.

I also must mention that this past weekend Chase and myself were at the National Homeshow doing a dogsport demo with the Fast N' Furry team. It was a great show!! We will be back there again this weekend too. Hopefully mom will get photos so I can post them.

Acton Agility Trial

Yesterday my mom took me to an agility trial and we had so much fun. She said I ran very well, too bad she made some stupid errors to cost us our "Q's". I got to crate next to Tink and Kestrel. Tink is my niece, and Kestrel is my grand niece. Mom had been planning on getting photos but she got gabbing too much and didn't take any! Mom was also happy that the judge talked to her after our gamble run to inquire about me and called me a "real go-getter". That I am!!

FAST N' FURRY Demo Team

Well, last night Mom took Chase and I to our second practice for the Fast N' Furry Demo Team. We will be doing dogsport demos at The National Home Show in Toronto. Chase and I have done lots of demos in the past with different groups but this will be a large venue with a lot of people watching! I can't wait! We get to do flyball, agility, disc and different games as well as visit with the crowd afterwards.

Tired of the Snow!!!

This must be a record breaking year here in Ontario. We got another huge snow storm, and the snow is so deep in the yard now we can't even run through it and enjoy it!! I wonder when we will be able to get out into the yard and set up the agility stuff and play frisbee. My Mom and Dad are tired of the snow too. But we still get the go to the barn for agility! See the huge snow banks!!!
